Description

Deer are herbivorous (plant-eating), even-toed hoofed mammals. There are more than 40 species of deer and they can be found in most parts of the world. Deer have long legs typically suited to the environments they live in. They can jump high and swim as well. Most deer are born with white spots but lose them within a year.
